Founded in 2002, Step By Step Academy is a non profit treatment center which provides a safe, nurturing, learning environment to children with autism and their peers. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the root of all treatment methods used.
The research proven ABA model consists of:
- identifying a challenge or problem;
- setting goals and objectives;
- implementing procedures to increase, teach or reduce behaviors.
Step By Step Academy is certified by the state of Ohio and employs a team of doctoral-level psychologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts™, Board Certified Associate Behavior Analysts™, and staff with advanced training and certifications, that create, manage and direct each child’s individual program.
