LSW or LISW Position Available – Newark Location

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary job responsibilities include assisting clients with mental health needs by providing strategic services that identify and address the social-emotional-environmental issues that interfere with the treatment process. Working with parents/guardians, center staff, and community based resources, the social worker implements strategies that promote client’s positive center adjustment. This position will also be the LISW for all Outreach consumers.  May include nights/weekends, but will flex full-time schedule around those hours.  This position is Exempt.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Masters Degree in Social Work required
• Must be licensed in good standing with the State of Ohio
• Identifies and assesses psychosocial and life skills needs through analysis of factors
• Exemplary attendance
• Must be billable at least 25 hours per week
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge of many children with autism at different areas of the ASD spectrum
• Must be able to show tact and diplomacy when dealing with parents, clients, peers and staff
